I am disturbed at how many messages here are to the effect of, "Oh, her poor family, how awful for them to have to find out she works in porn", as though that's the real tragedy of the situation.

I dont think the pulling of the sites has much to do with her being ashamed she has done porn. I think it has everything to do with the protection of the family. I know I would not want my daughters pictures being capitalized on if she were dead or missing. I would not want to even think of all the assholes out there jerking off to her pics while this is going on.

I think it has everything to do with the protection of the family. I know I would not want my daughters pictures being capitalized on if she were dead or missing. I would not want to even think of all the assholes out there jerking off to her pics while this is going on. We all know that there are some sick fucks out there that would take advantage of the anonymous of the internet to abuse her parent and attack them with pictures they had easy access to. I cant even imagine how her parents feel. I go apeshit when my youngest goes missing for 5-6 hours at a time. Even though he is running around with his friends.. I drive all over..call everyone I know..it's maddening...the worry is sickening beyond belief. I know there are pics out there that can be found..but at least an effort has been made to help protect that family and that says alot about the integrity as a human being for those making that decision.

The media has a habit of portraying anyone involved with porn as evil and shady. I can't begin to imagine how a webmaster would handle this - taking the site down until there are more details was definitely a good idea.
