I liked Halo3, but I LOVE Call of Duty 4

Wow!

Nothing more to say really....

I like Halo3 better than Call Of Duty, mostly because of the story, just coldn't get behind the story on Call of Duty, also didn't like that you could only shoot a javelin when you had a target and my character got stuck a few times

I got the ring of death yesterday. This is the replacement they sent me like 6 months ago. So glad I didn't buy any new games lately.

I'm loving CoD 4 too. Been playing an hour or two every day since I got it. Should hit Lt. Col. tonight if I can play for another 30 mins or so. Gotta hit Colonel so I can get the P90. Seems that's what I get killed with the most.

Call of Duty 4 is much better than Halo 3 IMO.

ps. you can't fire the Javelin because that is how they work, it's a little thing called "Realism".

Call of Duty 4 is the REAL Call of Duty 3.

3 was actually put out by a different developer, so that the publisher (EA) could have another title out for the Holiday. It was developed by Treyarch and not Infinity Ward, who did the original COD and COD2.

I see there are some different opinions here - very good. Halo had a cool story indeed, but the "realism" in COD4 is pretty good (especially if you have been in the service yourself (like I have in Norway) - my favorite assignment so far was the sniper one. Pretty intense!

Ya I liked the sniper one too. But for some reason my favorite is the Death from Above level, it's awesome just blowing the shit out of the town.

Play it on the hard level, this way the bullet damage is realistic, takes a lot more time if you can't run around like a madman shooting everyone. Plus it's more intense because you have to watch your six a lot more.

The AC-130 stage is amazing. I play that level over and over on arcade mode.

I'm loving Call of Duty 4...

I couldn't play it on my 2.8ghz with the 8800gts card. I moved the game over to my 3.4ghz with radeon x800 card and it plays like a dream.

made me realize that video cards are overrated and CPU rules.

My only beef is the lack of splitscreen online play. My girl and I can't play in the same room on the same unit. If we want to play COD4, we have to sit on opposite ends of the house.

Death from Above is for guys who has only seen the military from "CNN"

Anyways, it was a fun level too. Sniper one was my favorite still because that was my position when I was in - to an extent.

Story was "ok" and to the times.

After the ending the "we might ask you to join the air sheriffs" portion was LOL

Have fun guys, I enjoyed it a lot.

My girlfriend is currently hiding my PS3 in her parents house until Xmas! I'm pretty sure she has Call of Duty 4 with it... well she better had.

All the other Call of Duty games were awesome, but this one on PS3 and my new tv should make for some great gaming!

THe P90 is a nice weapon for closer combat, it's a bit of a pain for longer range. The MP44 is da bommmmb tho I personally use the RPD with the grip.

The focus of this game is not so much single-player play though. It's really geared towards online play.

We're talking online play here, COD4 was built as the ULTIMATE online game and its the best game released EVER for the Xbox 360. Beats gears of war hands down and any other game. Simply for the online play.

I couldn't play it on my 2.8ghz with the 8800gts card. I moved the game over to my 3.4ghz with radeon x800 card and it plays like a dream.

made me realize that video cards are overrated and CPU rules.
I play it on my 8800 gts with no problems. all settings maxed out as well.

Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
think about that
