Well I can sue you for no reason tomorrow. Companies can sue John Doe based on IP address. The question is what are you getting in return? Privacy in Hong Kong is probably different from what you used to. What we need to do is keep hitting them, their hosting companies, Commerce Gate and everyone else with DMCA's until something gives.

Makes far more sense to sue the sponsors. Granter, megarotic will get new ones, but sponsors may be a bit more wary of where they get their traffic if there is a judgment in your favor. Far more winnable to stay in the States and certainly more collectable.

Suing somebody in China will prove to be an uphill battle just to win the right for a court to hear the case.
Then even if you win by using some long arm statute and get a judgement or whatever it will be another uphill battle to enforce it.7Comment
