Ron Weiner - something you morons do not get.
More than half of the bill was high priced wines.
NOBODY, unless you are a jerk off who found money on the street and have to show this to the world, pays 20% tip voluntarily on high priced wines. Check ANY wine, food, restaurant related board and you'll see what I know for a fact. Carry on, imbecilles and refuse 20% tip when it's obvious that the voluntary tip will be much less. |

If you cannot afford to leave a decent tip on it, then do not buy it

Bullshit!
Lesson #2, you moron: the mark up at the good restaurant is 250-400% on the bottle of wine. Every true wine lover knows that and paying extra $40 on the $200 bottle which costs $50 in the store is for the jerk offs. WHY the tip on pouring $2000 bottle be different on pouring $200 bottle? Same stems, same decanter, same everything.... When and IF you ever get real money and not a beer money, you'll understand the value of them and services they buy. |

Would love to go wine tasting with you in Napa or Sonoma sometime. Let me know if you ever are planning a trip and want to invite an extra person/couple.
I get to Napa at least four times a year, and I am always looking for an excuse to visit more often. ADG |

For much more affordable tasting, you can visit the actual vineyards where the wine is from, enjoy world-class dining with excellent wine pairings, and relax golfing, playing tennis, or visiting a spa. Plus you can get a much better price on any cases/bottles that you chose to purchase. I have a brother in Florida (he lives in an area dubbed the "Redneck Riviera"), so I'll let you know the next time I am out that way. Likewise if you decide to come slumming out to Wine Country, let me know, and I'll see to it that you are wined and dined. ADG |

I thought you were Tony...you are not, damn!
Anyway, I used to like Californian, but nowadays preffer more subtle wines. Burgundy, aged Piemonte and well aged Bordeaux are now my poisons of choice. American wines are now less than 6% of my total cellar, and majority of them are Oregon Pinot Noirs. |
