How can I get affiliates?

So far the only people signed up for my program for the most part are review sites but my site converts well. My top affiliate is like 1/50. The Best Porn has me listed as the #1 lesbian discount site http://www.thebestporn.com/categorie...an_sex/budget/, Free Ones had me as the review of the week. Porn Saavy has me #4 lesbian site overall http://www.pornsavvy.com/adult-site review/category/lesbian/sort/rating/order/desc/page/1
Sir Rodney's has me in their top 10 Lesbian Sites so my site is pretty good and it converts but I need to get affiliates who can send more traffic how do I do that? This is the sign up http://www.epochstats.com/wmreg/add_...hp?program=261

If someone can help me out by signing up or with info on what I need to do to promote it better I'd appreciate it.

Start with a url to your site, tell us what kind of tools you provide. WHat do you pay. Is it pps or rev. give us as much info as you can. Show samples if your content is exclusive.

You showed some links but we have to guess which site is yours.

I just signed up for it, the link for the hosted gallery doesn't seem to be working, unless thats just me...also, there only seems to be 1 gallery available for affiliates to use and no free content available to make them. Hope this helps..

maybe have a webmaster link on the bottom of your tour so webmasters who like your site can actually sign up without having to know that long epochstats link?

Honestly you will not much appreciate the truth on this one.

I am about to feel bad.
1. Traffic leaks on main splash page.
2. No real program page.
3. No real TOS, scares me (just default epoch one).
4. No Rss, no other new promo material types.
5. Revshare.
6. Revshare on 9.95 would scare off nearly everyone unless you could proove it retains for like 3 months just to bring it on par with a standard 1 month payout at a typical revshare site, or at least 5 to 10 months to equal many PPS sites.
7. Tour pages have traffic leaks.
8. Appears to be blow out content usage.
9. Repetitive tour text, willing to bet that if you altered that it would convert even better not to mention be spidered by the engines and get you more traffic/sales.
10. Only 1 hosted gallery.
11. Only 2 banners and they are standard.
12. No site content available.
13. You have no sig on gfy and odds are same at other boards.
14. You do not mention your sites enough.
15. Lack of a webmaster link on your sites, not even a non credited link.
16. Did not bother to check to see if you had a webmaster refferal program but damn even if it was at 15% on 9.95 thats umm scary.
17. You offer trials on 9.95
18. It comes off as you need more experience according to your posts, which is fine by me but some may be scared of it.
19. Tos is not clear if you pay for check sales.
20. Does not seem as if your 2257 is linked to me on tour but well its listed on every page. (just a peeve)

I feel bad now.

Don't have to feel bad I added some galleries. Not sure what you mean by traffic leaks. I'm doing a affiliate site and the membership recurs at a higher price. Same price as Video Box. I agree with most of your points.

Surfers don't like to read, lots of them can't even if they wanted to. It is the content that sells, that is what should be "in your face", it is what you should concentrate on. Instead, you go on and on in boring text about downloading and how often you update and how most members stay members...what are you trying to do...turn lesbians straight and make guys limp?

The text should be turning your customers on, not turning them off. Save the "why you should join for short bursts on the tour, and you can do more in depth "why" in point form on the join page.

"Updated Weekly" "Unlimited Downloads" and things like that between content blocks work better than dull text.

Ah Porn Ass asking questions is perfectly fine. Hell most have wanted information handed to them. Before Cozy Frog some used Toms newbie booster and before that if you knew where to look you would jump into certain irc rooms. Everything from full on walk through articles to hand holding has been done in this business forever. It just is more hip to snub people now.

Porn Ass no I'm not lazy infact I'm in my 20s and pay all my money from my day job in child support. I started my business with scraps and ate p&j and tuna sandwiches for weeks at a time. I figure the only way to learn is ask someone who knows more then me. I asked a question if you can't give me advice don't respond to my posts.

Here's the link Affiliate Program Link: http://www.epochstats.com/wmreg/add_...hp?program=261 I built an affiliate site today but it's not up yet because I have to wait for Go Daddy to update the nameservers to my host. I've been driving traffic on my own but it's not enough.

Here are some quick tips:

1) make a press releases, there free, announce your product to the industry
2) participate in forums, offer advice if able
3) Look around, goto tgp sites, link lists, talk to there owners, sell your product!
4) Work with others in the industry, if your on there mind they may tell someone
5) Get listed on all webmaster resource sites, as a startup tool I recommend doing it manually or use: http://www.resourcesubmitter.com/submit.html - its free, and cool. Do not forget niche listing spots like ones for free hosting galleries etc.

Now I must go.

MC -

There are some really good replies here.
Also, maybe stick with the review site traffic for a while. Review site traffic is FUCKING AWESOME. Stick with it, and fix up the problems After Shock Media listed (to begin with), and then take the next step to attract other types of affiliates.

Traffic leaks as in you are potentially losing traffic from footer links that go to other sites (such as the parental links which can be on your disclaimer page anyway). These same parental links that are on the tours also appear to open in the same window (surfer gone).
