Many companies are switching off of trans fats super quick though. That list will switch super fast here soon and many will all show 0's. Just takes a tiny bit of time to rework your menu and keep the same tastes people expect while removing the trans fats.

Though many actual restaurants use that shit too, yet they stay under the radar. Then again its ok if they hide a stick of butter in your steamed veggie platter, or a quarter pound of butter and a cup of whipping cream in your mashed potatoes. So why not also force feed you some trans fats in some of their other dishes.

The paper placemats at Micky D's lists all the calorie and fat/carbs on the back. I can still eat off the menu there ... but I sure miss Popeye's chicken.

Pretty sure that list is outdated. I know KFC has been advertising a trans fat free menu up here for a while. I am pretty sure McDonalds switched the oil they use to something without trans fats as well.

Trans fat is a killer, yes

but another reason (that should be listed if it isn't already) is the amount of SALT some of these places put on their fries before serving them. McDeath's for example, they load their fries with salt sometimes to the point they are unedible.

Salt is a killer too when overused.

Yep..eating all that shit can cut your life by 15 or 20 years. Except for terminal illnesses , there is no reason that we shouldnt be able to live to a 100.

Another interesting fact.. India has an extremely low rate of alzheimers. They say this is because they eat alot of food with the spice "tumeric" in it..which is found in alot of curries.

Some of these diseases that we suffer from today are a direct result of the insane processing of foods and not eating from good ol mother earth.
