Well...
If any of ya guys were decent men you would have a lady that cooks for you...
Instead ya get a gay guy telling ya what is proper to spend on a meal and bicker about what street thugs consider fine dining.

Bisquick is fine for biscuits, dumplings and pancakes... and peanut butter blossom cookies.. but thats about it really.
You'd have done better to do one of the recipes on a box of stove top stuffing. There's one I like on there that is really just bite sized chopped chicken breast, thin layer of mozzerlla cheese, then stuffing (mixed with 1 can diced tomato's and some minced garlic and half cup water), then jam it in the oven for a while.
Yeah it's a cheap-ass meal, especially if you buy giant family packs of chicken.
I think as long as you're cooking for yourselves, you're saving money anyway.43-922-863 Shut up and play your guitar.

exactly.1 box of Barilla Spaghetti about $2
Garlic about $1
Chilli pouder $1
500ml olive oil extra virgine $6-8
So I could make a great tasteful healthy meal for at least 2 persons for $10. On top I could make the same meal at least twice with that so it would only cost about $2-3 per meal ;)
My old italian mother could go into the freezer and take out a little peice of chicken, a little bag of bread crumbs and a can of tomatoes and make a feast for 8 people that would knock your socks off.Comment

That sounds disgusting. You can definitely cook a great many meals for that price with better ingredients than that slop. allrecipes.com is your friend
Hell, a good pot of Elli's home-made spagetti sauce is cheap!
ground beef (not so lean) ($2.50)
can stewed tomatoes (80 cents)
can diced tomatoes (80 cents)
can base tomato sauce ($1.50)
red, green pepper (50 cents)
onion (30 cents)
garlic (15 cents)
box dried spaghetti ($2)
Throw it in a pot and you're off to the races!email: [email protected]Comment

That sounds really really good...It's not like the meals cost a fortune, just more than $10 is all.
Here's one of the recipes that he makes that I really like, as an example of an average meal we have:
Chicken Valdostana for Two
2 (8-ounce) boneless skinless chicken breasts
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon butter
Salt and pepper
2 slices prosciutto ham
2 slices fontina cheese
1/2 cup dry vermouth
1/2 cup tomato sauce
3 tablespoons heavy cream
Coat chicken breast in flour, then saute chicken in 1/2 teaspoon of butter for about 4 minutes on each side. Add salt and pepper to taste. Cover chicken with prosciutto and cheese. Pour vermouth over chicken and reduce until vermouth evaporates. Add tomato sauce and bring to boil. Add heavy cream and blend together. Serve over rice pilaf or your favorite pasta.

Did you see the show when Paula and her hubby went to Paris? The 2 of them bought 12 pastries and sat there and ate them ALL. The faces of the clerks watching them get giddy while chowing down like pigs, was priceless.Comment

You just chose a really awful recipe. Even seeing the ingredients I would have taken a pass on that one. YUCK!
I cooked pasta with fresh clams and a light tomato garlic sauce the other day and I'm sure it was well under $10. The clams themselves were only $4 or so. I cooked it for myself but it could be altered to feed two and still be under $10.Comment

These suckers cost about $2.02 each at Walmart.
I started eating them when I started my diet about 6-months ago.
I betcha if you took two of these:

Or these:

Nuked them, threw the boxes away and poured them over rice or something the other party would never know it was a "tv dinner".
Enjoy.

sometimes I wonder if you are gay in real life.
You probably have a partner and the things you write here are probably true with the exception of maybe the he/she thing.
All I can conclude is that your branding in here is strong. Nice job.ICQ# 143561781Comment
