Someone in one of the articles pointed out that the statue of Jesus at most churches is pretty brutal as well.

I also liked the quote from some idiot in another article I read. His quote: "That isn't art, it's offensive."

Definately not in good taste.. but is art none the less..

I dont think an exploding plane into side of building statue would go well either if that was next on his list..

I think the idiot that decided to display it needs his head examined..

Next time he should pick the statue of a naked girl.. always a safer choice..

the chick in the studio next door to my main photogs studio did an 8 foot sculpture of the WTC towers exploding right after it happened...

the shit went on display....

she did it with only the best intentions... as a tribute.
