I used to do the same thing on my sites... you talk about how expensive it is to provide bandwidth -- and how you need more money to shoot more content... You just make it sound like the site is your hobby -- and all the money goes direct into making the site better. No surfer psychologically wants to pay your living expenses... they want to pay for more updates -- more girls -- better content, etc.

Which is why I think it would be beneficial for him to just let a company run it for a while while he does some of the easier work (easier for him, ie: coding). He'd get cash for nearly nothing, said company would get a small portion of the profits but more importantly would get some of his coding skills. And he wouldn't have to run the site at all. In the long run it'd be more money for him than he would actually get from just selling it outright. Especially since no one seems to want to pay the asking price of $250,000...

With the Volatile nature of the business, the #'s I have heard bandied about for a sites worth are between 3-6months of cash flow.So at 15k a month the max it will bring is 90K! just my :2 cents: Good luck in the sale!

gotys -- you could do what Gustav from hereistheporn.com did -- he basically gave the site to Spewie to run I think -- then they split the money 50/50 -- now Gustav is on a permanent vacation in Europe -- and Spewie is doing a really good job and the site makes more ca$h than ever...
