PC mags are shit
I haven't purchased a PC mag for a while now but the other day I wanted to see some new games coming out, so i purchased PC GAMER mag, about $14 AUD. Its a world exclusive on FarCry 2. I get the mag home, open it up, great it has a DVD inside, maybe a movie preview but what do I find 4 geek gamers at some expo playing a zombie game.. great let me just watch them play this fucken demo for 30 minutes and be amazed. Where is my fucken PLAYABLE DEMO bitch?
Farcry 2 screenshot are lame, doesn't show much of the game at all and the writter tells more about FarCry1 then #2. So I purchased NetGuide Mag today, $4.95 AUD (australian mag) and its showing me Flickr. WOW.. 2 fucken years ago I would have been nice but now... and 80% of the magazine is ads. Never buying another magazine again. I love the internet!

I think the magazines are now aiming toward the people who still use www.startpage.com to surf the web..
Why buy a 50 page magazine for 14$ while you have millions and millions of pages for free on the net..
