To update...I have tried and tried and the phone is not being answered. I called his son back and gave him a SITREP. He advised me that he had contacted someone to drive over and check on his dad. It is about a thirty mile drive apparently so I will check back with the son at some point. Stay tuned.

I was injured...near onto death (and in fact died more than once on the operating table) during Operation Desert Storm in '91. I sustained unrecoverable injuries that have remained with me and will remain with me for life and I live with mind numbing pain 24/7. The reason I now have to live off of near liquid foods is because my esphogaus has closed up to the point that I can barely swallow.
