Discuss what's fucking going on, and which programs are best and worst. One-time "program" announcements from "established" webmasters are allowed. |

Can I get 3rd party tracking for rev\share deals?
I want to set up some revenue share deals with sites that will pay me for products, services etc people I send them purchase but I'm wondering - how can I track traffic that goes from my site to theirs? Also, can I track actual sales ?
What if someone links from my site to theirs then goes back to their site directly a week later without going through my site first? Then what ? !! |

If these companies are offering affiliate programs, they almost certainly use cookies to track sales. This should be enough to track your sales on 95% of the internet population. Generally, I wouldn't do business with a company that has an in-house affiliate program unless they're huge or have an established brand (ie: Amazon). Otherthise, they almost all are third party programs for tracking.
