				ePassporte retarded phone call #1,450,982
While in Germany, a bank machine decided not to give me back my card so I had to request a new one from epass. You'd think this would be an extremely simple process. After trying to decipher the heavy Jamaican accent of the person who answered my call, I verified all my info accurately. Then he asks 'and now the last 4 digits of your physical card?' - 'I don't have the card anymore, that's why I am calling you to request a new one'. 'Oh, I'm not sure we can help if you can't verify the card number'. Then I remember the number is shown in my account page so tell him 'Wait one moment I can login and check it in my account' to which he replies 'it won't show in your account only your virtual one will'. LOL. Retard. Glad they are trained to know how their website works and what info it shows Once I give him it to his surprise of 'oh really, it shows it?' he lets me know the fee for new card, etc... He then tells me to call back Tuesday (with ticket number) to see if they were able to get me a new card issued or not. Then he said it might take 6 weeks to arrive so don't call back if I haven't received it until after 6 weeks! I tell him 'how come when I needed a new card last year it took about 2.5 weeks?' his reply 'well we have a new option for $100 to get it faster, if not, we tell people 6 weeks so they don't call us'. LOL! Awesome answer. The other part I find funny is to call back to make sure they have available cards to issue me on Tuesday? Why, did they suddenly run out? Someone should make a Crank Yankers type website with clips of calls to epassporte support. You don't even have to crank them, they come up with the humor all by themselves

				 | Lol, I also had one bad experience with their phone support once. Michael O is probably the best support they have.

LOL .. who on earth thinks it would be extremely simple? -- Everyone knows epass is only good as long as you don't have to interact with their support lol ..

				 | Ive lost two epass cards to my own drunken negligence at atms. Both times it was a simple phone call to epass and all they needed was last 4 digits of checking account tied to account. Two weeks later cards came no problem. I swear I am the only person with 0 trouble with epass. Knock on fucking wood. Actually I got one gripe. When one of the cards I left in the atm got picked up by the bastard who followed me, he proceeded to the nearest gas station to fill up his tank and apparently everyone else who was in line as I got knocked for 200 bucks worth the gas in a half hour. While I was reporting the card missing to epass the woman told me the charges were still rolling in as we spoke. She kills the card and tells me I can dispute them but in that case they will have to suspend my epass account pending investigation. I shudder at the mere thought. I rely too heavily on epass and Ive read how hard it is to get accounts unsuspended. I ate the 200 bucks and consider it punishment for being a dumbfuck and leaving card in the machine. That being said, I fucking love epass. Never a problem and I have used that card from everywhere from bumfuck Russia to bumfuck Iowa. |

				 | At least their business support is good. You don't get put on hold, the deal with the issue, and they call you right back when they have results. Personal account support makes even the phone and cable companies look good.

| So Fucking Banned | Thats why you never use an ATM that requires you to insert your card and let it suck it up into a slot. Use the ATMs at 7/11 or something, they are fee-free. But your point still stands, ePassporte sucks. And six weeks for a new card is just plain stupid, esp. when they charge you for every single one they issue. Lose your Amex card and see if they charge you for a new one. Of course they dont, they want you to be charging again as soon as possible, thats how they make money. Tards. |

 1) there are 7-11's all over the planet, in almost every country... and it was just an example 2) not all ATM's suck your card inside the machine... there are the types like at gas station pumps where you stick it in and pull it back out which is what he was talking about | |
