Max could have plea bargained, but he is standing his ground partially because he (and the industry) knows that a lot of people are going to be in danger if he loses this case.

Let's all hope that Max comes out on top. I can't fucking believe the government has time to go after Max Hardcore while they are telling us we're at "war". Can't they waste our money on fighting crime or giving financial aid to huge corporations or something? Prosecuting legal porn producers in the year 2002? What a fucking joke.

If he is convicted, undoubtedly they would send him to a minimum security facility. Esp if he is a first time offender, if he does any jail time at all. There is virtually no rape in minimun security facilties.

Whether you got a million dollars or 10 dollars, it doesnt matter anymore, prison is the great equalizer. Ego will get you killed.

As a photographer, I have a personal problem with him and the way he mistreats his models. Thats all.
