Yeah, I totally agree. I always thought Pernell punched like a girl, which is why his fights always go 13 and a half rounds, but he clearly outboxed De La Hoya.

Oh he definitely did that, no argument there!

Boxing's gotta be my favorite sport as well, my fondest memories are watching the championship fights of the late 70s and 80s with my old man! Sweet science it is!

The thing I love about boxing is you have two men inside a ring with no where to run playing the ultimate chess match! The thing that frustrates me though is these damn judges. Where the hell do they get these people I swear 90% dont know dick about boxing!

I give props to the more experienced fighter. Vargas had the chance with the power to take care of business and failed. Oscar is clearly the better boxer and my hat goes off to him!

Did you watch the fight killer? I am glad we still got one sport that is not fake like wrestling..... It was a true fight and watching the way Oscar took being out matched, ... turn it into a win was the best thing about it.
