6 young men resorted to VIOLENCE!
These 6 young men indeed should be punished for their CRIME(s)!


6 young men, repeatedly KICKING an UNCONSCIOUS young man, with their shoes on IS ATTEMPTED MURDER!!


I don't give a flying fuck what the victim said to these 6 young men, in a legal sense, this does not warrant a brutal beating. You may FEEL otherwise, but from a legal viewpoint, these 6 young men were WRONG to CHOOSE to resort to violence as a solution to the problem.


These 6 boys from Jena were not charged with crimes because of the color of their skin & that's a FACT!

They were charged due to their UNDENIABLE ACTS OF VIOLENCE!!!!

there's alot of truth to what you say, but I can't agree with the groups of protesters claiming these 6 young men should be free just because another group whom also belongs in jail for their crimes were not charged.

The only incident outside of this one I can make an excuse for is the one involving the shotgun. It is not illegal in the state of Louisiana to draw a firearm in self defense. (while the stories of the man with shotgun & the group of men differ, what I read was that police based charges on eye witness accounts that stated that the men ran up to the man with shotgun in an offensive manner at which point he pulled gun out of vehicle.. which is legal, hence no charges)

The black kid was charged with THEFT of a firearm, etc because they beat him & then ran. etc..

If someone come running at me in an offensive manner such as these men did, to attack me, and I pull out my weapon to deter their offensive, I am justifiable in drawing my weapon in self defense.

The men in this situation then continued to attack & physically took the firearm away.. that is not self defense (by legal terms) because they were in attack mode PRIOR to the weapon being drawn,, This is not a case of a perp drawing a weapon on an innocent group whom then defended themselves..
(of course from their own perspective they were defending themselves from potentially being shot, but in legal terms, NO, it is NOT self defense.) (hypothetically, I'd think they were more likely thinking "Fuck that motherfucker pull gun on me motherfucker I'll kill him")
