i had no idea why it took that many people to restrain him, and why in the end he was got tasered

I know the persona that he wants to exhibit, I agree that is all. But I've seen enough of his posts to know that when it comes to the police, he rarely shows any rational reasoning behind his thoughts. In fact, he comes off as a kicking, screaming, impetuous child.

Riiiight, i come off as a screaming kicking child.

Face it, you MUST have some grudge against me, its creepy that you even have some opinion of me.

I barely remember even who you are, but its clear you have some thing for me... I dont know you, what youve done, or even if you are in this industry. It creeps me out when I see "supposed grown men" discuss me as if you know me or something, you describe me as if you know me, but you are so off base its somewhat stalker-like.

Dude you have no idea how my own country sucks....I've lived well over
9 years in other countries than my own including almost 2 years in the US.
I'm back here for my kids and my family so they can spend some time with
them....next year my ass moves out of this place again.......

I post things that suprise me about any country including my own and if I don't

one. The US has a brought the world a lot of good but not only good....just
like any other country in the world. Yes the US is targetted more than other
countries.......it's a kinda big country.......high trees.....catch wind....or
something like that I guess. :thumbsup

CDSmith 09-18-2007 09:58 AM

I'm certainly not a fan of cops on power trips as many are, but I have also worked in securty in the past, for many years in fact. It's one thing when a guy is ranting and yelling in protest while you walk him out, it's quite another when he is resisting and trying to physically assault you while you attempt to do your job. Force will almost always be used in the latter, and lord knows I've wrestled my share of idiots to the floor and pinned them forcibly until they quit fighting.

I've never taesered anyone, but have used force to subdue the problem. The guy in this video did seem to be wildly resisting what looks to be a simple removal from the premises and not an arrest. Overzealous on the force or not, if you choose to get physical and go out of control resisting, you get what you get.

He brought it on himself.

Do I like that it had to come to that? Not at all. There was certainly a better way to ask his questions in a more calm and respectful manner instead of coming from the tone of being a mouthy ranting lunatic. He got his 30 seconds of free speech, the venue then exercised it's right to remove him.

CDSmith 09-18-2007 10:04 AM

"only in America"

In the past 10 years I've seen news videos of actual beheadings in several countries OTHER than America. Chechnia, the middle east, southeast Asia, China etc.

I'll take the taeser anytime over that.

ServerGenius 09-18-2007 10:06 AM

The Only in America quote I use in tons of threads I post in......even when the
thread is about samoa.......it's called humor and it works every time :winkwink:

I loved seeing that whiney little liberal bitch get zapped. "no dude, don't taser me!"

pornguy 09-18-2007 10:27 AM

the really sad thing is, that you ( Any of you talking shit about the cops and how they dealt with the situation ) are sad. You talk shit yet you were not there. You talk shit, yet you DONT know the rules that the cops follow for the use of a tazer, you talk shit, yet you HAVE NEVER been in the cops shoes.

You get pissy when someone says that C P and Adult Porn are the same, yet you sit there calling foul and all sorts of BULLSHIT, when you have NO IDEA what happened.

You all talk shit about how the media lies and things are skewed to look a way that they are not, yet you see a partial clip in YouTube and now you all know what happened???

Fuck off you fucking idiots. You have NO CLUE, and you dont care to find out before you bitch.

Tom_PM 09-18-2007 10:30 AM

I respect others opinions, but this one was all over with, and THEN they tasered him. If thats acceptable practice, then thats an even bigger problem. Escorting him, grabbing him, removing him I'm all for it. Tasering a subdued subject, not. Thats torture.

Watch one of the other tapes of it. The big white cop smiles after the guy gets tasered. fun fun fun in the sun.

You have a strange notion of what subdued is. They are kneeling on him and trying to hand cuff him, and you can hear one of the female cops say, Put your hands behind your back, and dont resist. They are trying to put cuffs on him, and they can not. That means, they he is NOT SUBDUED. He is still a danger to Kerry, and they did the right thing.

Tom_PM 09-18-2007 10:57 AM

And what does the police training require in the same situation in a state without tasers?

Oh and by the way, I found another clip and I was wrong when I said the one cop smiles. He looks up and has a funny smiley kind of face, then he yells at someone to back up. On the clip I saw on tv they chopped that off and made it look like he was smiling.

Usually Pepper spray, but the problem with that is look how many officers were around the perp.

He was not tazed for asking a question, he was tazed for resisting arrest.

You obviously don't know a lot. If someone doesn't want to be restrained it is relatively easy to require multiple people to do so. It doesn't have to be a big/strong person either.

Tom_PM 09-18-2007 11:11 AM

I cant tell where he was told he was being placed under arrest, so can only assume it was just before he starts yelling about being arrested.

Anyway, 2 of the officers are now on paid administrative leave pending a formal investigation. The man was released and not charged with any crimes. The president of the university expressed regret over the incident because the university encourages civil discourse, and it was not allowed to take place in this case. I think we can tell how he feels from that comment.

You just saw an element of the clueless who have no concept of how to relate to, or manage people. In effect - they are just too dumb. Fortunately all US cops don't have this level of incompetence, but a fair number do. They are the last people who need to be in any conflict scenario and often just escalate incidents. Trash like those starring on that tape also bring the rest of LE down into the gutter.

I dunno, but it's probably a mixture of being dumb and also training procedures. Seen all that shit already and it's part of the course to "drown" any area with cops when there is an incident - in an effort to surpress. "Group think" then sets in and balance and sanity can go out of the window unless there is a senior officer present to control em.

You ever seen a display like that from cops (hard to call em real cops - it's just campus security) reacting to a conference questioner in any other western country? Friggin joke :disgust

xNetworx 09-18-2007 11:20 AM

He screamed like a little bitch. Still pretty f'd up that he got in there without being searched. I feel the police were a bit excessive once he was taken down.

how did he bring it on himself?? are we not supposed to question men that aspire to the highest position of power in the country (and maybe even world) ???

that kid wasnt "resisting", resisting would have been punching some fucking cops in the face...if you call that kid trying to pull his arm out from being subdued then thats crazy..those assholes had no reason to forcefully manhandle him like that, are we living in fucking north korea now??

The cops were assholes but they don't deserve to die for using excessive force on a guy resisting arrest, even if that arrest is unjustified.

Felix,

When I first saw it I was just as fucking pissed as you are! I thought it was fucking bullshit, more shit from our already fucked up goverment.

I started looking things up, and by chance went on Facebook to see what was on there, and saw a Support Andrew group. I joined it, and then read what I posted in this thread.
