Fiddy only good shit was how to rob and steal; I mean you have to love his balls for calling basically everybody in hip hop out! Too bad one of those people was Ghostface, the best lyricist in the game right now!

are you kidding me? hes an obnoxious ignorant racist with an extremely whiny voice and poppy rap, he's also the creator of the worst 'rap' song ever: jesus walks. Keep close minded religion out of rap to brainfuck unstable people with that propaganda. If there's one rapper i really hate its kanye west.

And listening to 50 cent since the "Get Rich Or Die Trying" album isn't listening to 50 since day one. Thats when he first became a sell out. Get your hands on a copy of "Power of a Dollar" or "Guess Who's Back" and you'll see why I say 50 is corny now compared to when he takes rap seriously.

i fully agree, power of the dollar is the only 50 album i occasionally still listen to.

Better albums than Curtis that have come out in past few weeks:

Special Teamz - Stereotypez (Check this track with Devin The Dude)
DJ Muggs Vs Sick Jacken - The Mask and The Assassin
Raekwon - Vatican Mixtape Vol 3--House Of Wax
La Coka Nostra Presents Ill Bill - Black Metal
Young Noble And Hussein Fatal - Thug In Thug Out
Crooked I - Hiphop Weekly
Chamillionaire - Ultimate Victory
Boot Camp Clik - Casualties Of War
Caveman Theory - Cro-Magnon Mixtape
etc, etc

50 Is entertaining, but not even a 1/4 of the MC he used to be..:2 cents:

Jman 09-20-2007 11:17 AM

Yo Yo, do you walk with a limp as well.

teg0 09-20-2007 11:19 AM

same old same old. just another artist sticking to a formula instead of being creative and taking risks (when they can afford to ).

stev0 09-20-2007 11:19 AM

50 cent is annoying, i'm glad they don't play him on the radio here.

Scott McD 09-20-2007 11:21 AM

I still can't make out a fucking word 50 cent ever says...

OG LennyT 09-20-2007 11:24 AM

I won't even download Kanye's new album for free

50 Cent's was worth it though, but I wouldn't pay for his efforts.

nice sig love her booty, who is it?

I think Chris Brown made 50cent, J.T and Timbaland look like the 6th grade talent show compared to his act at the VMA's. 50cent part rapping was ok.. the beat box sounds was lame.

Curtis is a dope album. A lot of peoples expectations are way too high for 50 Cent.

I wonder if any rapper could put out an album half as good when you have a cool $400 mill from vitamin water alone. hmmm....

I've been a Crooked I fan for a LONG time, I have that Dynasty Boss Mix for sure, I like disc 2 the best :2 cents:

Also have his Evolution of a Boss LP and the Hiphop Weekly tracks, not to mention most of his singles...:pimp

I was just goin by recent albums that came out compared to Curtis...

Mr Steele 09-20-2007 11:54 AM

I hate postin 2x in a row, but had to share this Crooked I freestyle....check this then try to tell me Curtis is better :2 cents:

Fuck it, even Thirstin Howl the 3rd kills pretty much everything Curtis has dropped in years https://youtube.com/watch?v=Z0d9SKUSpns

Silvercash Tess 09-20-2007 11:56 AM

I have never really got into him. I prefer Underground Hip Hop/Rap.:)

these 3 rappers are all in total different categories.

50s a rapper embraced as a pop star. The kid makes hits.

Crooked I is a dude thats been trying and trying yet hasnt amounted to much or even have much to show for it. The label hes currently on is a start up owned by a couple Armenian guys based in Glendale Ca. along with a pretty talented younger cat named One 2 or 1 Two or 1,2 or whatever who is probably the most talented on a label that has gone as far as to sign washed up current no bodies like Krazy Bone. lol

Thirstin howl the motherfuckin 3RD! I love this cat. but i dunno what he has to do with the likes of 50 since success is no where near 50 yet is way higher then Crooked I. The only thing this cats similar to 50 in is the fact that they both started off dropin mixtape after mixtape (god i loved the polo days) but thirstin never made it past the mixtape. As a matter of fact, his albums even sound like mixtapes. TH3 is above average backpacker shit.
PS- i dont think i can EVER get Unique Londons voice out of my head after i heard Brooklyn Hardrock.

Farang 09-20-2007 12:19 PM

I liked his Get rich or die tryin album, that last one is the worst imo

Mr Steele 09-20-2007 12:22 PM

I'm with you there on London's fuckin voice... holy fuck...

Ya, i know they can't really be compared, but it seems like 99% of hip hop threads are about 50, so I wanted to throw a couple lesser known names out there to give a better spectrum of some of the shit out there right now....
