I've had live in nanny's/housekeepers for over the past eight years, I always go with an agency. And they don't necessarily have to live with you either. What city do you live in?

Dont get one from Craigslist. that bitch will clean your house out while you are out! I have used a maid service in the past. You can get reviews of the companies in your area and see which one suites you best.
