The major ADSL provider is Bell Sympatico. Their service and pricing are better than Telus' offerings in Alberta (5 mbps for ~$40/m).
The major cable provider is Videotron. Their plans are similar to Shaw (same speeds) but slightly more expensive. Quality of service is better than Shaw. I've been with them for 5 years and experienced less than 24 hours of downtime.
