Nothing stopped moving, but it's a memorial day for many people. This event affected the whole world,it was a multinational tragedy and it's normal to see such changes in major sites. They didn't stop operating, but they adapted to the offline world as they should. I don't see the reason to make you angry.

Your point about the Israel thread with the candle lighting is a good point, some guys here might've bashed that. But it doesn't mean its' the same guys who care about the 9/11 event. Myself, I'm from Montreal, fairly close to NYC. A 5 hours drive away and because this city is so close, we feel very attached to the event. Everybody I know has a connection to the WTC victims.

Let's be respectful of such events, people will deal with it with whichever way they feel is best. IF they want to change colors, they can change colors. They want to close their business for the day, fine do it. It should always be the same for any event that you feel strongly about.

Big deal 3000 people died, bohooo, thousads of people die everyday because of terrorist acts, deseases, but we dont hear about them and suddenly Americans die, the whole world is in trategy. This september 11 became so overexposed, it's like a commercial, yeah people died, ok, but can we move on and focus on important things.

You people are to narrow minded, sure almost 3000 people died that day, and yes it was a tragedy but 1 year prior to that 10,000 people died in Turkey as a result of the Earthquake they had. I can mention several instances of this where 1000?s of people have died. Do I remember the dates? No! Why should I? 1000?s of people die each and every day some in more tragic ways than others. But the point I?m trying to make here is really that there is no need for all this patronising which you Americans seem to love so much, because as I said earlier if this incident had taken place anywhere else in the world and I really do mean anywhere else you wouldn?t have cared!
