What makes me say that? Days when I was helping my friend to run his clickthrough program. BTW Isnt Denmark the only country on AP black list?

MikeyBoy 09-11-2002 09:02 AM

Yes it is I was curious about that too
I asked Lensman onces

He had catched a dane cheating and he went absolutely bezerk and from there Lensman decided no more Danes.

A little weak to ban an entire country because of that.

My appinion is

1: this 9-11 business has been overrated because it happend in USA, if it was i paris nobody from USA would care.

2: There are to many unknown aspects for me to really care to much about it. Massivecock might be paranoid but something doesn't smell right.

3: Innocent people lost their life, its sad. But didn't it do allot of good for USA allso ?, hey you got to invate Afghanistan, for who knows what reasons. And your ignorent president got to play Idians and cowboys just like he watched it on tv when he was young. My god, and now a civil corps to investigate and rat out people who act supcious. What is he up to ?, or even more what is his advisors up to ?

You also miss one point. This is american board. If the wanna put american colors up, it's up to them. They dont need to ask you. You can leave and go to some Danish board if you dont like it here.

You people are to narrow minded, sure almost 3000 people died that day, and yes it was a tragedy but 1 year prior to that 10,000 people died in Turkey as a result of the Earthquake they had. I can mention several instances of this where 1000?s of people have died. Do I remember the dates? No!
Why should I? 1000?s of people die each and every day some in more tragic ways than others.
But the point I?m trying to make here is really that there is no need for all this patronising which you Americans seem to love so much, because as I said earlier if this incident had taken place anywhere else in the world and I really do mean anywhere else you wouldn?t have cared!

Wow my last argument really shut your mouths didn?t it?

It's funny that so many people outside of North America see September 11th only as a day of death. September 11th was a wake up call to the world. Get it through your heads. What's even more funny is how so many foreigners think September 11th had absolutely no affect on them... well guess what, it did.

And what you think the bombing of the two U.S. embassies in Nigeria and Tanzania was?
Was it to far away for you to really care?

Yes it's public board but it's privately owned. And what owner of this board do with it is none of your business.
And I am sure Lensman didnt blaclist your country just because of one cheating Danish webmaster:1orglaugh
The program I helped to run those numbers were about 80% of danish webmasters cheated.

Well thats just what he told me anyways.
I think the post is in the support forum.

About the 80% I find that shocking but again I don't really care. If my country is on a sponsors blacklist which I wish to do business with they are no more than a phonecall away.

Did I say that? Nope. Didn't think so. Everyday that some innocent person dies is terrible, don't you agree? The Jews, the Hutus, the Tutsis, anyone...

But you don't see me rushing to the boards bitching about others mourning their losses, do you? Nope. Didn't think so.

Next comment.

EDIT: Misread your comment. But no, those were wake up calls as well, to the United States, but nobody took them. The WTC (World Trade Center) was a call to everyone, regardless of where it happened.

galleryseek 09-11-2002 09:29 AM

mikey it was a fucking earthquake, not a terrorist attack. obviously 2 very different things.

I keep this (now yellowing) cartoon pinned to my corkboard near my desk. It's the only cartoon I saw about September 11 that had anything vaguely interesting to say.

I think it makes its point very well.

What I don't get is why you guys expect the US to care so much about international affairs regarding terrorist deaths and acts of god ( which they seem to do alot, sending food, money, peace keeping forces, not to mention basically saving all of Europes ass not once but twice ).

I don't think most US citizens give a flying fuck if you guys care... but if they want to show respect for the victims and memories of 9/11 they can and should do whatever the fuck makes them happy.

And the rest of you that are jealous, ignorant, or unfeeling SOB's should, you guessed it, GO FUCK YOURSELVES!

No you didn't shut anyone's mouths.

The simple fact is I would have cared as would many others in American if this had happened anywhere else.

One of the reasons we are in this mess right now is because of our policies of messing into too many other countries affairs.

We try to be goodwill ambassadors and bring food and we are shot at as our ships dock in the harbors.

We go into Somalia to try to help the food problems there, and once again we are shot at by the very people we try to save.

The list goes on and sure I'm not so naive to think that we don't have ulterior motives in any or all of these situations, but still we get involved unlike so many other countries.

I for one would care if this had happened in Denmark, or even Turkey, hell even a shit hole place like Afghanistan and our country along with our soldiers would have been more than happy to come to your aid and put the assholes who perpetrated such a crime six feet under.

And even if we didn't care, we sure as hell wouldn't condemn those who did care. At least I wouldn't. That's what you seem to be doing MikeyBoy.

I could really care less if you go out of your way today to pay respects. It doesn't matter to me. As I'm sure nobody else really cares either.

This september 11 became so overexposed, it's like a commercial, yeah people died, ok, but can we move on and focus on important things.
For all of you non Americans, we don't expect you to mourn as we will, because it is Americans who died. English mourn English tragedies, French mourn French tragedies, et. We don't expect you sympathy, just respect our actions as we mourn the loved ones who were lost.

3000 people died. America hasn't seen a single day since Pearl Harbor that 3000 people died. It may be the worst day in American History and you say "Big Deal"? You would mourn the worst day in you countries history, or so I would hope.

it's really sad to see how ignorant some people may be.
people are mourning, some have lost close people, some will still loose them as this situation escalates, to others the symbol of our prosperity/freedom/etc. was destroyed..

everyone is still taking care of business, but if you can do a simple thing like change the colors of your site , why not?

Denmark is a rich country, people have high incomes - no need to cheat like the people from poor countries. (Russia, Eastern-Europe, Africa etc.)

It's not BS ControlThy. We didnt have a numbers for Russia and Eastern Europe as we didnt alow them at all. This was about 3 years ago.

[Labret] 09-11-2002 09:48 PM

That is absolutely brilliant. If that picture doesnt speak a thousand words about Americans, then I dont know what will.

Well, maybe a picture of a stadium full of people to see Dave Mathews or Creed.
