Wierd heart pain

Anyone ever had anything like this?

I had a sudden sharp pain in my heart and then it started beating really fast all i was doing was sat at my desk.

Then my hands got cold and i felt dizzy

I called emergency services and they took me to hospitol and did a ecg but it came back normal

I walk 5 miles a day and eat healthy so the doctors told me to go home

Seems very wierd though?

Maybe i had a small pain in my heart and then had a panic attack?

Could be stress related or sleep related. Also sometimes you might feel a pang in your heart and then start to panic, making it worse.

Could be stress, could be a lot of things. Have you ever had a fast heart beat before even for a few seconds?

Sounds like extrasystole. And when heart does not get enough oxygen, it feels like pain and you get dizzy. Panic attack strengthen this and heart beats faster. Just relax, its quite normal.

yeah, kinds stress related and maybe fatigue as well if you're working too hard. Have time to relax man you're still sooo young. And do you drink coffee a lot? Sometimes too much caffeine causes heart pain.

Actually i had a similar thing only the pain lasted a few minutes and i passed out. I woke up in the hospital and it turned out to be not my heart but the musscle in my chest (breastmusscle). All the rest was just panic because i thought it was my heart.

Mostly the pain itself is not the danger, it's the panic afterwards that can get you down, that's what my doctor told me.

Sounds like a panic/anxiety attack.
Try breathing slowly into a paper bag and laying down in a quiet area when this happens again.
If it happens more frequently, go see ya doc and get something for it.
Best of luck!

At 21, it's most likely not your heart, but I'd still follow-up and get another opinion. If you ate a big meal or something greasy, it could be a bad bout of acid reflux. That will burn your esophagus and give you a burning sensation similar to a heart attack.

Get a ct-angio scan, those rock!
Could be a bunch of shit, sometimes the most obvious answer is not right so keep an eye on yourself and don't ignore pains.

It's probably just something you've eaten. You can get the same kind of pain if you're a smoker because your stomach-mouth won't close.

happened that to me last month. just stress and lack of sleep. you need to rest, take some vitamins and have enough sleep. too much work is also deleterious you need to take care of your self, you're just only 21 y/o, enjoy your life, don't work too much.
