Blanca Peak (14,345 Ft) in Colorado Today (1200x1600 PIC)
One of my sightings today... and my new desktop wall paper. Picture doesn't do this justice. Absolutely beautiful area. And for that matter, US-160 is a great drive all the way, so many great shots, not enough pull offs or memory cards.

Beer cans, soda cans, a Snap-On wrench (I kept that) a spent bullet, tail light lenses, you name it, thrown all over. Disgusting what people do to such wonderful places. Funny thing was, while I was in the middle of it, a guy stopped and helped. Amazing how such things catch on. That was my good deed for the month, left the place a little cleaner than when I came.) |
