I totally believe the passengers of flight 93 are heros.

But I'm going to go further than that. I believe that they took over the hijackers AND HAD controll of the plane. Now think about it, there were 45 people on that plane, and 4 hijackers. Once you know the hijackers are planning to kill everyone there is NO CHANCE that 4 people can controll 45 with box cutters. It's pretty much IMPOSSIBLE. The passangers KNEW what was happening, they were in cell phone contact with their loved ones. So what happened?
Here's what I think, I think an F16 shot it down. They were in the air at that time. I think Bush KNEW the hijackers had been defeated on the plane but didn't care, I think he panicked.

The crash site STILL isn't accessable to the public, it's a contolled area. It isn't a memoral. The only time relatives were allowed into the area cameras were not allowed. The only pictures we saw of the crash were released by the FBI. WHY? I think it's cause they are afraid someone will find a missle part.

I've talked to a lot of people about this, and many agree. It doesn't make sense that the hijackers were in controll when the plane crashed. The heros of flight 93 had controll and were headed home when an F16 came up and just blew them out of the air.

Just my opinion.

I always assumed that once the passengers fought back, whoever was flying the plane took it straight down into the ground

Theres a reason why that black box recording hasnt showed up ANYWHERE...usually something like that will hit the net or their will be speculation as to what was on it...they have that shit sealed away for a reason

If you TRIED to take the flight back from the the hijackers but failed, you a brave fucker ... but dumb and not a hero.

We will never know what happened up there, but I'm damn sure tha four guys could hold off a buncha civilians in a narrow ass plane....especially after they threw out the bloody bodies of the crew and sliced up a few flight attndants.

relatives inteviewed after hearing the flight recorder said that it was clearly evident that the passengers were able to force entry into the cockpit shohahahay before the plane crashed.

There was also a coal worker who witnessed the crash and said that the plane travelling pretty much at a 45 degree angle into the ground. I doubt it was shot down.

I doubt they were calling from cellphones, they were probably using those back of the seat phone things. In the news reports they claim that some people called their relatives several times.

99% of people have PCS or GSM digital phones with tiny ass .25 watt transmitters, which are pretty much useless in half of rural Penn, let alone at altitude.

i would say you are probably right.

the crater it made in the ground showed that it had to have hit that ground at a pretty steep angle.

The black box itself was 15 feet underground.

Seriously, just because you or for that matter I would not have done what they did does not preclude the possibility of other people risking their own lives to do what needed to be done. That's what makes them heroes--they risked themselves for people they did not know. I just no myself enough and am realistic enough not to be under a "hero" delusion. I am not sure I could do what those passengers did.

I guess it's easy, even "cool" to be a cynic nowadays. But ultimately, when people die, and we all will some day, how people judge your life is what you did for OTHER people....not what you did for yourself. This is universal....this is what makes us human. What is rare is the person that cared for people outside of his circle of family and friends. I know, hard to believe, hard to understand.......I guess that's what makes them "heroes."

I think it's pretty simple. One of two things happened:

1) A fight broke out in the cockpit. There isn't much room in a cockpit. Maybe they figured they were going to die no matter what, so they killed the terrorist flying the plane. Or maybe they killed the terrorist flying the plane and then tried to fly the plane but failed (it looks easy in the movies but it's not).

2) Maybe they attacked the terrorists, and the fucker flying the damn plane took a crap in his pants and intentionally flew the plane into the ground.

There's no way a F-16 shot down the plane. There is radar tracking the planes (and missles), and people who saw the plane crash. Do you honestly believe that US Government can cover something like that up?

I was just watching CNN and a vice presidential aide pointed out that Cheney gave the order to shoot the plane (Flight 93) down a hlaf hour before it crashed.

Upon hearing of the crash, Cheney said (quoted by several people) "I think we just witnessed an act of courage."

He didn't know shit at the time of the passengers' supposed role (it didn't come out until days later)

So what he was saying, as clear as day, in the doublespeak that politicians speak: we just blew up a plane full of Americans, we need to cover this shit up by making these people heroes.

All ammunition that boards a plane (F-16) is tracked. I am sure one of the grunts when they got back had to take inventory and trying to cover up a missing missile would be kind of difficult. Not to mention the witnesses say there were no missiles launched (as far as they know). The facts are the plane crashed, people died. All the investigating in the world won't bring those people back.

I was always curious of the plane that smacked into the pentagon as the pictures I have seen never really resemble a wreckage of a plane. I dunno too many possibilities...

By the way, from the way I understood it from the interview I watched on TV (a wife of one of the passengers), she said it sounded like they (the passengers) were trying to break into the cockpit. In another interview I saw (not a family member but some official) said it sounded as if they (the passengers) may have been using a catering cart as a ram while trying to break into the cockpit, but that was basically the last sounds heard. I concluded from that the hi-jackers were locked inside the cockpit and either had taken over flight controls or the pilots were still at the controls when the passengers were trying to break in. We will never know the whole story.

Yes. I had heard that. If everyone will notice the other aircraft in the area did not report any other aircraft in the area other than UA-93 (like fighter jets). Of course the conspiracy people will say it is a doctored tape.

There isn't much room in a cockpit. Maybe they figured they were going to die no matter what, so they killed the terrorist flying the plane. Or maybe they killed the terrorist flying the plane and then tried to fly the plane but failed (it looks easy in the movies but it's not). 2) Maybe they attacked the terrorists, and the fucker flying the damn plane took a crap in his pants and intentionally flew the plane into the ground. There's no way a F-16 shot down the plane. There is radar tracking the planes (and missles), and people who saw the plane crash. Upon hearing of the crash, Cheney said (quoted by several people) "I think we just witnessed an act of courage." He didn't know shit at the time of the passengers' supposed role (it didn't come out until days later) So what he was saying, as clear as day, in the doublespeak that politicians speak: we just blew up a plane full of Americans, we need to cover this shit up by making these people heroes. I am sure one of the grunts when they got back had to take inventory and trying to cover up a missing missile would be kind of difficult. Not to mention the witnesses say there were no missiles launched (as far as they know). The facts are the plane crashed, people died. All the investigating in the world won't bring those people back. I was always curious of the plane that smacked into the pentagon as the pictures I have seen never really resemble a wreckage of a plane. I dunno too many possibilities... DH

Posts: 21,053	By the way, from the way I understood it from the interview I watched on TV (a wife of one of the passengers), she said it sounded like they (the passengers) were trying to break into the cockpit. In another interview I saw (not a family member but some official) said it sounded as if they (the passengers) may have been using a catering cart as a ram while trying to break into the cockpit, but that was basically the last sounds heard. I concluded from that the hi-jackers were locked inside the cockpit and either had taken over flight controls or the pilots were still at the controls when the passengers were trying to break in.
