Good Hotels in Pattaya

Any one have favorites in Pattaya?

Looking for a hotel with CCTV down to their bar, those types still around? I haven't been for several years now.

Thanks!

The Penthouse is just plain gaudy. I stayed one night and could not figure out how to turn all the damn blinking lights off. And who needs a stripper pole in both bedroom AND bathroom???

I really like the Residence Garden
theresidencegarden dot com

A lot of Brit ex-pats stay there for extended stays; it is quiet and just a 5 minute baht bus ride to downtown.

The Hard Rock is a good choice for touristy stays.

That looks like a good call, thanks! The Penthouse, I couldn't remember the name of the place, I was thinking "presidential" something. I didn't stay there, but I did think the CCTV concept I heard about was great.

Know any other hotels with the cctv worth looking at?

Thanks again for the feedback!

If you're staying for at least a week you'd be better off hiring a nice villa or condo. I've tried a few hotels there and they were all shit.

Penthouse about gave me heartattacks every night i stayed there, could never figure how to turn off those blinking lights all over the fucking room, basically i hated that place

Hardrock is awesome, has Saturday night foam parteies and awesome food, but lil high priced imho for a Pattaya hotel

My fav is the A1 hotel on BeachRoad Soi 1 or 2, it is the big boat shaped hotel, decent price, good net, nice rooms, etc etc

Sabai Resort (not Lodge, Lodge kinda blew, overpriced imho) is pretty good, only bad thing is only have net in the lobby, but VERY cheap

......i've stayed in about 10 others that arent worth mentioning like Montien Beach, sucked and few others i'm trying to think of........

Thanks all for the tips! I will be checking them out! Sounds like the Penthouse I will avoid, though I do like the CCTV idea still
