I love to watch infomercials. I don't watch them to buy crappy kitchen products or knives that can cut through cans. I watch them to study and learn marketing.

You can learn a lot about sales by watching them. Ever watch a Ron Popeil infomercial? It's a mastery of sales. He sells you on the features and then gives some oddball high price and gives you a "special limited time offer".

Ever watch a Girls Gone Wild infomercial? Notice how the "good parts" are censored, making you want to buy the videos to see what's under the black boxes and "censored" signs?

If you want to learn sales and become better marketers, then watch and study infomercials closely. Especially ones that have been running for a long time.

Don't forget about the one that says you have 20lbs of fecal matter built up inside your intestinal track and you need colonics or some kind of colon blow.
