Another bump...
I´m thinking of buying either BlogSolution or BlogsOrganizer. Anyone got any recommendations?

Zuss 09-08-2007 12:50 AM

Blogsolution doesn't seem to post to outside blogs, it rather creates them.

No problem. Once upon a time you could see threads and info like this on several sites. I don't know what happened to the biz. :disgust

Yeah, I dont really mind if it doesnīt post to wordpress or blogger...as long as I can easily create a blog network from one location.
So far I think Iīm gonna go with Blogs Organizer.I just want to see itīs RSS rewriting capabilities before..

First let me say thanks for the order. You should definitely set it up on a resource domain. If you need any advice on the best ways to utilize the software please feel free to hit me up on icq or submit a support ticket.

Good suggestion re setting a domain for images. I will put that on the list of feature upgrades.

I should mention both linkspinner and feedspinner features are done for ABPSA I am hooping to get the code today and begin testing. If all gos well you should them in the software (free upgrade) in the next week or less, and we have many more planned including ghostwriter, keyfeed, and some others.

Yep, it would be even better if we could randomly choose from a list of domains to host our images on...just to reduce the risk of a possible footprint.

Hopefully these are some of the power features that I wasn't good enough to be shown how to use. :1orglaugh

I'm sure Chio will update us here soon.

.

in all honesty if documentation is what is keepin you from buying it, then it might not be for you anyway

I got it, installed it, and set everything up within 2 hours, no documentation needed...and at this point I would much prefer Chio spend his time creating all these amazing features instead of slaving over a typewriter documenting how to run such an easy software appplication

I am not saying don't buy it, but if no documentation was a reason for not buying a script, I wouldn't have half the amazing scripts I have running today

Zuss 09-10-2007 01:39 PM

Jace, I've already bought and setup the whole thing like , a week ago. It was very simple to install the script and use the gui, but I was soon pretty dissapointed by the lack of features. Then, chio told me that there were "hiden" and undocumentaed functionality like cronjob support and post scheduling, and that he'ds be releasing a documentation.

To be honest, I don't feel that it's fair to let costumers who spilled 300$ guess how to unlock the full potential of the application, just because not everything is available at eyesight. I would expect at least a decent documentation, if not a gui implementation.

So I'm just asking about the timeframe I have to wait until I can use the script fully..thank you.

Zuss 09-10-2007 02:07 PM

I meant, a post limiter sorry.

did you email support and ask how to use those "extra" features?

Zuss 09-10-2007 02:38 PM

No, because chio posted here, that he'd be working on a documentation...and that all issues with hidden options would be fixed asap.

SNL 09-10-2007 02:43 PM

I have used autobloggerpro, cyberseo, freewordpress, and wp-o-matic.

Non of them compare to BlogsAutomater. This program blows the doors on all of the other programs. If you have big network of blogs blogsautomater will be the best for you.

Zuss 09-12-2007 01:50 AM

So is there any news about the documentation? Otherwise I'll email support about all my questions.

I started on 7/28/07 with this network, only using ABP, wordpress and BlogPinger 2.0...I also have my rss feeds in porndiggity.com and bookmarkyourporn.com, they both update when I update the rss fed blogs

my stats so far since 7/28/07

http://www.justjace.com/tmp/st.jpg

this is using everything I have learned in the past 2 years about blogging and rss and starting from scratch, aside from a few links here and there

I think i am off to a pretty damn good start

btw, if you need a great script that will show stats across all your domains in one control panel, let me know....it is really nice for viewing total traffic levels and shit

Hi Jace how did you get these site so auto update with your feed it looks like ony manual submission? - rss feeds in porndiggity.com and bookmarkyourporn.com, they both update when I update the rss fed blogs

loreen 09-15-2007 07:13 AM

Bump for updates! I was a bit disappointed with ABPSA features (compared even with ABP), so I'm anxious to see new features :)

Make sure that those hits ain't SE BOTS

l10 doesn't show se bots as a "hit"...in fact, I don't know many current stats software apps that DO show se bots as hits

Fabien 09-15-2007 10:10 AM

My blog software does hahahahaha no shit
Not cool but it will be arranged in the next update (i hope)

Off topic question: These famous new updates are for AutoBlogger Pro or the StandAlone version?

rezdesign 09-21-2007 07:03 PM

I hope this is not off topic, but I'm selling my blog network xBlogSpot.

You get the domain, customers, and all that comes with it. :thumbsup

The standalone version for now. They are in the current release btw. We are planning on updating the older ABP with these features as well as a complete rewrite of SA. If anyone has questions feel free to submit a ticket.

But don't worry, this will be a very honest step by step look at the process.

Excellent and informative thread, its inspired me to start a few blogs. As a photographer with absolutely no experience in building sites this will be a huge change for me, but im up for it. I have about 200 URLs on a dedicated Webair server most of them on separate IPs and unused, so i have the basics and a ton of content all i need to do is learn. Is there some good reading material about blogs on the web to get me up and running ?
Thanks in advance for your help:thumbsup:thumbsup:thumbsup

martinsc 10-07-2007 11:04 AM

i'll just keep bumping this....

c-lo 10-07-2007 11:54 AM

Bump to subscribe to this thread.

Also, I'd appreciate having all the features documented in some form. Thanks.

LeRoy 10-07-2007 12:12 PM

Ok I am jumping on the Blog bandwagon too. I have started with 9 blogs at Sensual Writer. I am going through the learning curve right now. So we will see the results. I am going to start 3 campaigns all at once Freesites, Galleries to TGP's and Blogging network. I am going to see the stats of all the campaigns. I am really excited to see these results :)

F-U-Jimmy 10-07-2007 10:45 PM

Bumpy...

Sysgenix 10-08-2007 10:55 PM

That tool makes blogging a power house for anyone willing to put in the time for set-up

Zuss 10-09-2007 01:48 AM

Which tool? I'm currently looking at the kaktusan autobloggerpro alternative because autobloggerpro itself ist pretty much beta and it doesn't work as promised. For example, it rewrites affiliate urls if a word that I choose to rewrite happens to be in that damn url....so I'm havin a blog network with affiliate links and pictures noone can click on...that renders the soft nearly useless to me...
