    WTF?? Plane crashes into a helicopter in Barcelona

    Barcelona - A commuter jet crashed into a helicopter today near a reindeer farm in Barcelona.
    After the impact both aircraft crashed to the ground. Both pilots sustained minor injuries, but were released from the hospital after treatment.
    One reindeer from the farm was killed by the falling wreckage.

    When asked if the animal was hit by wreckage from the plane, the helicopter, or both, government officials said "The reindeer in spain was hit mainly by the plane"

          With the level of traffic at some airports - that's easy shit and waiting to happen more - including aircraft collisions on the ground.

          First copter flight landing at a "real airport" was hairy as hell - it needs 360 degree vision and even then there was a commercial airline flying underneath the copter for a landing (ya just hover and let it do whatever is needed - and stay well above it).

              Doesn't sound too tragic. This one sounds much worse...

              A small two-seater Cessna 152 plane crashed into a cemetery early this afternoon in central Poland. Polish search and rescue workers have recovered 300 bodies so far and expect that number to climb as digging continues into the evening.

                                      The world of GFY can produce strange thoughts. Bet there are a fair number of folks here who are totally different to their GFY "personnas" :-) Tho it's fairly obvious who has sense and actually in this biz.

                                      Prob the worst copter stuff is with TV crews - like all in the same airspace and trying to get the best footage. Not a wonderful idea *lol*
