GOOGLE PIRATE search engine!

I came across this search engine which uses all the tools GOOGLE uses for getting us the search results. This website is named Google Pirate?time to plunder ! It gives us a wide variety of search categories, such as web, comics, e-books, NZB, torrents, music, videos, albums and many many more!

hmm it has a JavaScript redirect to give the results, and as I've not heard of the site before I'm not adding it to my whitelist, so I guess I don't get to see the results until I see more posts in this thread.

looks legal to me, it's just a custom google search engine... although I didn't enable the 4 other domains that use javascript on the results page.. I'm assuming ads, and so there might be something breaking the google ToS.

Wouldn't it be some sort of trademark infringment - since their name includes word "google"?

ah yeah, you may have me there, but aside from that, the site is just using a custom search engine, which is a feature of google, and so the concept (other than the domain and title, etc) is encouraged by google themselves.

Ran a few random search terms. Results all sucked or were non-existant. Probably a good reason Google's not paying them any mind.

That's a ticking bomb for the owner, Google might go Spartan on his ass at any time......if not expect several hundred other sites using the name "Google" in the domain.......
