Apple Final Cut Studio 2 VS Adobe CS3 Production Premium
Both look to be really good upgrades to their existing software suites. Is anyone actually using the new upgrades and willing to share your views on these productions suites?
I'm particularly interested in what works, doesn't work, is improved, and is new and hot. I have a decisions to make soon. Many thanks, Redrob |

I don't have the entire Adobe CS3 suite of software as such, but as a long time Premiere Pro user, I am happy with my recent upgrade to Premiere Pro CS3 and the new version of Encore (dvd authoring) that came with it. I like the movable and dockable panels and it works well with the Aspect HD 5 plugin to edit hdv. It's a great solution if you are a pc guy, otherwise Mac people will find another good solution with the FCP suite.

I've been using both for a couple of months now. Photoshop CS3 runs a little faster on my Intel Mac than CS2. Plus you can have different preset workspaces for if you work in Web and Print. And the new version of Bridge is by far the best version yet. Much faster than previous versions and more room to customize.
And Final Cut S2 finally utilizes the dual core processor, so rendering is almost twice as fast (if you're using an Intel). Both good upgrades IMO.
