Wordpress. I don't actually use it on any active sites, but it's great at what it does.

Absolutely. It's an overall CMS framework with tons of plug ins.

If you want to do hybrid blogs that do more than what Wordpress can... you can with Joomla.

Want a content management system for your members area... no problem.

Want to create an online store for hard goods... simple.
