I'm promoting a sponsor with their own webmaster panel that displays signups and rebills. I've noticed stats were especially odd one day when I logged on one early morning and saw 9 sales. Great I thought, just a few hours into the day.
I go back to sleep, log on on just after noon and instead I had 6. My roommate confirmed the same thing, as a matter of fact she pointed out "wasn't it like 9 before we went to sleep?". I run a very large site where the members area is a pure reflection of the preview section so I'm 100% sure chargebacks isn't the problem. I have a large community of happy customers and tons of correspondence through positive emails. Moving to the point.. Does anyone who works with CCBILL extensively know if there is a possible chance I can find my true stats through the real CCBILL panel? I didn't signup through CCBILL when I signed up with the sponsor so I don't know if it's even possible. Would it be possible for CCBILL to take my name and social maybe and pull me up through this sponsor? May be a long shot but it doesn't hurt to ask. Unless they see this and delete my account.. |

I'm not interested in starting any drama. I make a fair amount of money through them but I keep receiving emails like: "Hey I just signed up! Great site, need help with <insert here>" but my stats aren't reflecting any signup. I even ask them the time and they'll tell me 25mins ago, or "just now".
I'll ask for their user/pass and they'll provide it, the login does work. Of course they could have signed up yesterday and just now got around to asking today. But between the emails, my community base, and the jumping signups I'm looking to find the truth. If anyone knows whether or not an individual affiliate can be plucked out from a CCBILL sponsor without signing up or if there is a number I can call.. I tried checking out the website but didn't see a 'webmaster number' though I may have overlooked it. I appreciate any positive opinions or feedback in the right direction. |

I'd suggest calling CCBill and having them look into it.

I think you should contact the sponsor and see what they say.

I dont think CCbill will be able to tell you anything... it sounds like you are promoting a sponsor that just bills thru ccbill? or do your checks come from ccbill?

I don't understand this - you run your own large site with a members area - it's a paysite? and in your members area you upsell this CCBILL sponsor who has their own stats system you are suspicious of? you say that chargebacks aren't an issue because your own tour previews and members area deliver what they promise - how does this have anything to do with the sponsor's paysite? anyway, if the sponsor isn't using CCBILL's affiliate software they can't/won't give you any information about your sales with the sponsor.

Regarding your second question, see above. I was afraid of this. I'll guess my only option is to try CCBILL directly, I'll search about on GFY for contact info. Thank you for the information. |

One issue may be the data collection. Perhaps they got a batch that was somehow mishandled, and was then updated a little later. Maybe they weren't with your ID, but were for some reasons credited to your account but corrected after?
There is a fair bit of software, processing, and communication in all of this. |

If CCBILL can help me with my stats and they are indeed messing me over the only right thing to do would be to warn webmasters across the boards I'm apart of. After I get my check to keep quiet, of course. |

And no, ccbill will not give you any information regarding this. If you don't trust the sponsor then send your traffic elsewhere. |

I find it hard to believe that a sponsor would "retro shave" since affiliates are likely to notice numbers changing (for the worse). I guess it's not impossible though......

tell the sponsor you will only send him traffic if you can send them straight via ccbill's linking codes and you can log into the ccbill aff admin to check your stats, If you send a good amount like you say they will have no problem with that.

Winterverse,
Is your affiliate id anything similar to the CCBill affiliate ids? Actually - if you go to the site and try to signup again, does it give you the option to add it to another CCBill id? If yes, then you should be able to get the info. In the meantime, if you can get the details on your last week's worth of sales & members that can send you the CCBill signup confirmation with the transaction details & it doesn't match with your data, then they'll have some explaining to do. **A way to get them to email you is to offer a free movie clip or pic set to your present and future members - tell them to send you the confirmation email so you can check with your sponsor if the signups add up** I hope that helps |

I've noticed a rare case of nats showing twice the same sale. For example affiliate did 1 sale through ccbill processor and nats shows for example 2:450 while amount appear is for 1 sale as it should. Contact aff. program and they'll check it out.

Screenshot a few times per day just in case. Whether it's a display error, or something else, it'll sure help get it resolved or repaired one would think.

The other thing is - IF - you are large enough and - IF - they are small enough, they may allow you to put some tracking code/gif on their members area main page so you can confirm how many signed up or not (although it's not a fool proof method). Anyhow - good luck! |
