Maxcash around since 96??

Were they really around in 96?

Record expires on 26-Oct-2004.
Record Created on 27-Oct-1997.

This is from the whois on maximumcash.com... what were they before maximumcash.com? It shows the domain registered 10 months into 97.

Weird.

D you think this business is full of conspiracy theory addicts maybe? LOL. I was around in 1996 and I do recall Kara's being there and the program coming into being. But then again, maybe I'm just a ghost....

that was about mid-97 or so, when I was the greenest of the green....the good old YNot days.......then I tried to make my fortune in mainstream while everyone else got rich...fuck me! fuck me! fuck me! ;)

Mark T was a god himself back then, one of the original board personalities.Karas was a links site competing with PK,Karas got into Ynot membership as a links site I believe.Dec 96.Only 12 sites at ynot.RB didnt start the program till spring 97 I believe...so no they werent huge that early on,pay for clicks and signups were just startin back then.Use the wayback machine to look at how it was back then.
http://www.archive.org/index.html Somebody ought to write a book about 96' and 97' in this biz,the first prospectors.

I didnt come in until like March of 98 and believe it or not.. it took me a year to find RJB..

Between Maxcash and Cybererotica, they paid for quite a few toys.. I remember Ron Levi on Sharky Live saying Maxcash and im like who is that? Then someone said maximumcash.com, im like.. hmm never heard of them..haha

Oh man.. the days of converting traffic at 1 in 25

Great guys, great company, and always paid great money

suck up!

p0rn0man didn't arrive until 98? Hmmmmmmmmm......... february 97 i discovered YNOT through FantasyMan's own web board which i found on Cybererotica. There I found Serge running back and forth telling Levi he was full of shit. Followed them to YNOT.

Then I started fighting with everybody on the board.

took me another few months to learn HTML. i was just spamming up until then.

i remember RB and Maxcash in 97, very quietly going about his business, letting everybody else make asses out of themselves,
bragging about conversion rates and 25 cents , 50 cents a click nonsense.

BP your right in some respects the earlier go getters got started in this biz the better off they'd be.BUT there are still plenty of folks that didnt take advantage of that early opportunity AND regarless everybody has some regret about there Business decisions over the years, even Im sure the Max Cash guys.;) Plus theres a number of up and cumers, fast growing companies that didnt start till after 2K that will eventually begin to match those kinds of revenues. That doesnt change the legend status of the Bottos though;)
