Seriously though, I had a buddy that was the same way. He would be just hanging out and then the booze would kick in and he would just start yelling and crying and carrying on. He went to therapy for a while, worked out some shit, and now he has a good time when he's drinking. Could be shit you don't even know youre harboring, could be deep.

Damn...I think what you need is just someone you can release this shit to, someone that will just listen to whatever it is that is bothering you. I wouldn't suggest going to a shrink, they charge way too much to say "And how does that make you feel?" I would find a female to talk to, big girls are best--they'll listen and may have some good input/advice. Guys are no bueno, just because we are not emotional to begin with and we don't want to hear about someone elses problems cause we know we've got our own to deal with. That and just in case you start crying again it's always better to do it around a female who will not make fun of you for doing so.

Yeah that sounds good but I think it would take years of friendship for me to build up enough trust with someone who I could let it out to. I think I'm too introverted. I asked about it being a gay trait because a gay friend of mine keeps talking about how it's great to cry with someone.

Yeah I don't know about all that....I don't think crying with other folks would be great. If there is a legit reason to cry like your mom/dad/brother/sister died and you were with family maybe it's good to cry with them. But as for just being frustrated with life or something in your life, I don't see how crying with another individual would be great. Don't get me wrong getting shit off your chest is good and if you so happen to cry, okay, and if the person you are talking with starts crying because you are...it's okay I don't know how you would classify something like that as great though. Plain and simple you just need to find someone to talk to and get shit off your chest/mind...whether you have a friend that you can do this with or a shrink.

So who, the fact that you think you might be an alcoholic probably means that you are not. All it means is that you hold in alot of stress and when you drink, everything kinda loosens up and comes out. It's ok to just be fucked up in the head sometimes. Work through it and make sure you can vent, cry, talk to someone. Anyone will do. You'll be ok....

I cried my ass off when I went to Ratatoullie or whatever it's called. Fucking DISNEY... You should never hold tears in though cuz it will start affecting the way your body functions. I cry at least twice an hour but mostly cuz of fresh trauma. Tears release stress hormones. Drink more water too. Trust me, I'm a crying expert.

Don't go on anti depressants either! Just break shit and cry once in a while. It's perfectly ok.
