Buying a car on the internet (Not ebay)
Seller is a big used car dealership in Denver. They want me to wire the money before they ship the car. How can I protect myself? (other than ofcourse flying there and driving it back)

Gosh that's a good question to ask.
Its a risk you're taking for certain unless its a dealership. You have all documentations and agreements on payment etc? Make sure you have everything on paper/signed. |

You should go and get a 100 pt. inspection before you hand any money over.

Ya, unless you go there or know somebody close by that can look at if for you, I wouldn't do it. I know a couple guys who have been screwed by this before.

If you absolutely have to buy the car online, don't send a wire, use a credit card...that way you can charge it back if it's a scam.
