I'm setting up a paysite using ccbill. Currently on the join page the default charge (listed in the drop box at the top) is $29.95/month recurring. I prefer to have the $2.95 trial as the default, anybody know how to do it? I called their tech support and their answer was "I don't know" go figure

My first suggestion would be http://manual.ccbill.com -- then if you can't find what you are looking for email [email protected] and copy your salesperson on the email -

Kinda frustrating when a "support" person says "I don't know, figure it out"... You should have better luck with your personal support person, than [email protected] .

Actually, there is a way to do it. If you are using the jpost method you can specify the list of payment options on the advanced form options screen. When you get the html code for your button or link, you'll see an extra parameter called "allowedTypes" that has a comma-delimited list of payment option ids. The first one of these is the one it defaults to. You can change the order of the list to change the default one. Hope this helps.

you can put anything in those boxes, if a tech says 'i don't know'

call back in 1 minute and the next one will

I use the old join pages myself, you can't update them automatically but you can specify different options that are not possible with the new ones.

For example I rebill my trials at a higher rate than my full price joins.
