This guy is sending me almost 80% proxy traffic, cross referenced with my proxy list. He signs up to my site every couple of days with a new domain. He is advertising amateurpages.com and if he hasn't been caught yet he is stealing a nice chunk of money from them.

Sounds to me like he's stealing a nice chunk of money from YOU by turning his proxy traffic into real traffic to send to AP.

I doubt he is successfully hitbotting AP...in fact, i can almost garuntee you he is not.

Yes he has productivity also on the trades with me..so my script sent him back hits until i caught him =( His xxxcounts has hm at around 100k hits.

His AP stats say he made about $5000 last month but that doesnt mean he wasn caught though.

If he made 5k off proxy traffic to AP...he didn't get paid. But if he made it by sending guys like you fake traffic in return for real traffic, unless AP was notified...he might have well been paid.

In fact..many sponsors have no problems with cheaters, as long as they don't cheat the affiliate program itself.

Get some proxy protection, close down your script to new trades, unless they e-mail you or you talk to them first, then manually add new trades.

agreed until they get SUED. Once a sponser is properly notified of a cheater they are expected to terminate the account. If they don't then they become LIABLE and a PARTNER in a CRIME and it's better to sue a sponser than an affilaiate cause their pockets are deeper.

When anyone uses any trade scripts you are wide open for cheaters. Back in the good ol days we all traded with REAL links, not script bull shit. You made a trade deal with a site and they added Real links to you and you did the same. The Big boys today still do it that way. All the scripts do is jerk around cheaters and surfers and do damage to the biz. If you want to cut out a good portion of all the cheaters and stop wasting so much time, then go back to Real trading. Its better all around for everyone.

Forcing a surfer to a new site is stupid since they will remember at least for a bit that you did that and won't tell their buddies that might BE looking for what they saw on your site.

Yes trading links was a great way back then. Every website had a link page. Today those stupid scripts just fuck surfers and get them mad. Pushing them from one site to another just to get your counter high.

Not using a trade script leaves you wide open to cheaters. You can't track the productivity of the trades traffic without a trade script. Very easy my friend. TGP's, CJ sites are like the magnet to cheaters. It's like cheater fucking another cheater thing. I traded
links mostly with people I knew. I didnt have any "auto submit".
Everything was done manually. And we didnt count hits from those sites on our link page. So sending fake hits didnt help anyone.

No you are mostly wrong. If you do not use a script to trade, and just trade Real links with people you know then you know the traffic from them is from a real link, not some forced redirected (or hitbot) hit. The reason you are "blind to all the fuckers who try to cheat " you is you trade with people who cheat. Not using a trade script will help to protect you from cheaters because you wont be trading with them !! also they wont waste their time sending you bull shit traffic because you wont be using a script, thus you wont be sending them any traffic back??.....

Maybe you just don't get it??? It's a simple concept...

Rose and Wired Doctor, both of you are absolutley correct. You bring up very good points. I traded with a very big tgp that was old school trading. But most of his trades were not. I was getting tons of hitbots that were coming from his trades, yet he had no idea as he could not track producitivty. I guess if you trade old school you have to make sure all your trades are the same way. These new hitbots can go up to 5 levels deep thru trades. I give up on chasing down all the cheaters, I just delete trades when their traffic looks funny, better safe than sorry.

I paid my price for stupidity when I started 6 years ago. You learn as you go. If it's OK or not doesnt matter. If you install some trading scripts you invite people to try to take advantage of it.
