Check cutting company

Does anyone know of a company that will cut affiliate checks for me and send them out? eg. I give them a quick books file, transfer them the money and they do the rest?

If so email me [email protected]

Thanks

The guys at paybycheck.com have a service that does that. Not sure about Quickbooks format, but they will take a file. I think its around $1 a check.

If you find out, let me know too.

I've used ADP before, but if I can find someone else comparable and trustworthy, I would love another option.

I don't mind signing a few checks when we go PPS, but once we've reached a certain plateau of webmasters/checks going out, it would be nice to have another company handle it (would also make it easier for when we're at tradeshows, etc.) Since the last problem we had with a bookeeper, I'm a bit headshy ;)

Go with big mainstream companies that do this kind of stuff

however, it's always better to do it yourself

We have been mailing hundreds of checks each week for few years now.
in the beginning it was a problem to get it all done fast. but hire few accounting people and it will take them about 1 hour to process few hundred checks.
and then all you do is sign

doesnt take more then 30 mins

We used to do checks and different mailings back in the mid 90's for some small companies locally. Sub cintractor payments and the like. Used a stamp for the signatures on the checks. But back then we worked from paper 'files' lol We do have quickbooks tho. Now that we don't need it that often. lol

ADP is the shit..very good for company checks weekly or bi-weekly. They even give u an automated courtesy call to let u know a couple of days ahead to process your checks

ADP is great for alot of reasons but they have some drawbacks -- what you may want to look into is spending the money on a machine that prints, signs, folds and postmarks your checks if you are cutting them yourself -- they start at about 5k for the small ones, and send the checks the way ARS does -- SIC Cash checks now come in this format --

KK what are the draw backs of adp?
And why do we need to spend 5k for a machine when we have a computer a printer and my signing by hand..

I do only sign about 100 checks but I still think I would go as far to sign 1000 as it is the final place to catch cheaters, errors, etc and I sleep better at night knowing I signed the check not a machine.

What's the name of a good company that makes these machines?

I know a few people who currently work at billing companies who are looking at doing this for clients. Who would be interested and I will email them this thread.

The foreign checks, the way their fees are structured at some points in your growth.

Signing checks used to be our last line of defense against fraud, then there were so many resellers Brad stopped signing and started stamping them all.

Then it started taking hours to stamp them all, so now we do fraud off a list, not with the checks themselves --
