Ok, my gf of 11 years dumped me for another guy. I have been so depressed I've lost 18lbs in 2 weeks, from 205-187 now. I know no one can help me here with my personal life, but how do i get my appetite back? I always feel full. Anyone take meds for something like this? I am beginning to look like starvin marvin.

same thing happend to me last year, I lost 30lbs over the summer, your appetite will come back, are you on any meds. I went on some for a while but they made me nacious so i didnt eat much

Same thing happened to me last year man. You'll get the appetite back. I know it sounds sort of counter-intuitive, but try exersizing.

If all else fails, you could go to a nutrition store and try a weight gainer product, or just work counter to what your body is telling you.

thanks guys for the advice, I know it's just time that heals a heartbreak. I never thought i would lose so much weight just over losing a girlfriend. I might try an anti depressant though to help me through it also.

Try very calorie dense foods.

For example, for breakfast combine in a blender:

2 scoops protein powder (chocolate or vanilla)
A generous squirt of pure honey
1 apple (peeled)
1 Banana
Sprinke of cinamon
1 cup of milk
1/2 cup raw oatmeal
water and ice cubes.

That's more than 1000 quality calories right there and easy to drink. Goes down like a fruity milkshake.
