Reverse IP and Domaintools

Domaintools have a service that allows you to see what is hosted on a single server (it is here: http://www.domaintools.com/reverse-ip/)

If you have 2 different domains on your server with 2 different IPs, does this prevent the reverse IP service at Domaintools from seeing that the two domains are hosted on the one server?

You must really learn to read. Where does it say it "allows you to see what is hosted on a single server"?

It says: "Enter an IP address or domain name and receive a list of up to 2,000 domains hosted on that IP."

Seriously, why else would they call it reverse IP lookup and not reverse server lookup?

I won't say it's impossible, but I cannot think of a reliable way to consistently determine which IPs are allocated to a server. It may be possible for someone to deduce this by looking at Apache versions, FTP login prompts etc of the different IPs but in general an automated service such as the above would not be able to link them.

nmap does a good job at fingerprinting servers. I doubt that domaintools is complex enough to do that but i wouldn't put it past something like googlebot
