Now personally I don't like the look, but it is no more animal abuse than getting your dogs hair cut into pompoms (like poodles) etc.

The stuff used is completely non-toxic, the dogs aren't harmed.

They have dye for dogs now. I have seen several puppies hair colored. It's cute. If they used the good dye for animals.
