e360 insight wins case against spamhaus?? 11mill
I'm tripping on this:
http://www.e360insight.com/press_release5.php I thought SpamHaus was a voluntary SBL used by choice by whoever so chooses to do so. Now as much as I agree, they can be a pain in your butt, in 99% of the cases, they are justifiably correct and are only trying to prevent irresponsible mailers from ruining the fundamental usefulness of email itself. As a hosting company owner, I have worked with them alot over the past 12 years and pain in the butt or not, they pretty much always had their facts straight. Does anyone know if e360 are legit people? I know they claim to be legit mailers, but what I am wondering is.... is the only reason they won because spamhaus didn't choose the right legal response the the problem? Is it possible they can actually win this? I know they supposedly "won" in the USA, but how could it legally be enforced? |
