using the building as a hostel might be the worse business for it. you have to have at least 2 employees for reception and cleaning - depends how big it is.
you should be there everyday unless you like to be cheated... the good thing is you have the opportunity to bang some backpacker girls ;)

ask joe sixpack. he's the king of insider knowledge of hostels. hostels can kick some major ass for meeting people when you're far from home, but i can't imagine them making much money. *shrug*
