You should check and see if "remember passwords for sites" is checked. It's under Tools> Options> Security.

Well, that is checked and it does remember passwords. But i need to fill in a username first and it automatically fills in the password. But on my laptop its already filled in when i visit the site.

Tools ==> Options ==> Privacy ==> Passwords
check "Remember Passwords" That should do it. I had a similar problem once, which was resolved by clearing all passwords and than check the option again. Hope it helps. |

There are some things i check several times a day and filling in your username every time is just annoying knowing it can be done automatically.

As I said in my posting above. Try to clear all passwords and than check the option again. In my case the problem was caused by uncecking the option. When I checked "Remember Passwords" again, Firefox remembered the passwords, but didnīt fill in automatically.
