Just curious where my '03 Cobra's speed governor was set at. Supposedly set to 155 MPH, but it was really set to 160 MPH with still plenty to go. Immediately after I slowed down to the speed limit, my radar detector went ballistic as I passed a Trooper. lol.

i've so far only hit 130. i was following one of my friends on the highway. we would have gone alot faster, but his radar detector light up like a fucking christmas tree.

i usually like to keep my excessive speeding on the track though. admission is far less than the cost of a speeding ticket going that fast. ;)

Not until last month. I bought a new Z06 and the specs put its max speed at 205 MPH so I decided to see for myself. I got to 186 MPH and decided it probably wasn't prudent to drive at that speed any longer

Yup, back when i was 16/17. Now my vehicle will barely do 80 on the highway (I think, maybe. Have not gotten it that high yet I don't think).
