Asking for handouts, maybe. It's not as if I don't plan on repaying those that are generous enough to help me via hard work and sales.

What is wrong with "shopping for other sponsors"? I believe in not keeping all of my eggs in 1 basket.

Yes, I did ask for references. I did not know the guy that was wanting to hire someone for a reviewer job, sorry if that offended you! Year of sign up does not prove anything.
