50 blogs or 200 splogs? please help me decide - GoFuckYourself.com

ok, thinking of a new project, my guesstimation is that 50 real blogs with original posts will take me as much time to update, build backlinks, etc as 200 splogs (since I touch the splogs posts here and there)

my question is what would be making more money in 8 months?? the 50 original blogs or the 200 splogs?

on the splogs I base the posts around sponsors gallery descriptions (I change a few words, add a sentence or two..) so, watcha think? which route should I take and why?

another question I have - do you have blogs using 100% sponsors RSS feeds, do they get any/good/some Google traffic????

I can create like thousands of them in a day but the 200 I'm debating here aren't 100% splogs, they are basically similar to the one you see but with longer posts, also the post titles aren't pulled from overture and so on...

basically the difference b/n the 50 and the 200 I'm talking about is that the 50 will have much higher quality and on topic posts than the 200, richer on content and so on.... I hope it makes sense to at least one more person than myself ;)

by the way, im building a network of site which is using sponsor rss feeds but not all niche has these so could rss feeds i think im going to add posts from fhgs with desc since i just bought a script for that. i think it might help the site as well..

what i have in mind right now is to build another network of blogs (which i think is splogs) with fhgs from sponsor using that script. i will build 10 sites from each major niche or something. but still not sure wether to use those free adult blog host or might get some cheap .info domains...

gallery scraper? i'm using it too and loving it, but I'd advise you to add more tetx, don't rely 100% on the descritpions. I have started doing that with about 160 or so info domains + 40-50 coms. So here's the good, the bad, and the ugly: infos - you pay a dolla for each so say you get 100 now, work your ass off and if for some reason some of them still don't get any traffic a year from now you don't have to renew them....

On the other hand people look down on info sites and its just a tiny bit more difficult to build backlinks, as far as teh SEs are concerned - no difference whatsoever.

Or you can do what I've started doing about a week ago - reg one com and make hundreds of subdomains, get wordrpess mu and create a blog on each subdomain (note that a lot of guys don't exchnage links with subdomains so it has its disadvantages too)

Do a combo of both.

Write original posts to target the SE traffic, and get book markers. Use the sponsor RSS feeds and galleries to fill in the gaps and give extra wank material.

That's the best way to handle a large number of blogs in my option.

how about the server/ips that those domains are hosted? what do you do? i was thinking of buying a cheap dedicated with lots of ips for my blog empire.. not really sure about the hosting but i have plan for the blogs..

If you get an SEO Starter, virtual 10C-C, a 15C, or a 30C it covers two servers at two different locations.

Sometimes if you get a 10C-B you might get two different Class A's, but it would be at the same datacenter.

Depending on the platform your blog network is running on, there's way to do this cheaply but maintaining HIGH QUALITY (ie., will the reader find it useful enough to revisit or refer friends to) standards.

1000 splogs are easier than 3 blogs if you use kaktusan's Blogs Organizer & Gallery Scraper software. Plus use subdomains since they're treated as separate websites. I'm not sure link trading, except with yourself, is much of an asset if your network is big enough.

If you own/buy generic domains you can get real creative with the naming convention of your subs.

yeah, but I don't let other users register or create blogs, I'm the only one that can start blogs - I simply use subdomains so I can create thousands if I want to, you can also get 100s of themes so tehy don't all look the same

If you use wp mu as splog, you might have risk to loose all your blog in the future.

I think .info is better for splog, and wp mu is better for white hat seo blog.

As for the splog, actually, you can use some black hat method to generate the content, but of course, it's readalbe by human being, but just like a non-native english speaker. Don't use some content generator which generate nonsense content, saerch engine will deindiex your site sometimes or later.

Just my suggestions:-)

You can't beat original, well written blog posts over the long run.

Splogs (especially ass-wipe scrapers) run the risk of getting their domains shit listed once they are reported and/or their content is flagged as stuffed keywords (or previously published/scraped content).

SEs can see through scraped content (dup).

As for "registrar/registrant spoofing" (ie. pretending to have unrelated sites cross-linking between covertly owned multiple Class Cs to manipulate SE ranking), what happened to link farms should serve as a warning to those investing this form of SE rank manpulation.
