Sticky you know I like you but you dont know what your talking about, Ive had pay sites for almost 7 yrs. I know the porn surfer. If you think your ideas work create a site and dont let the surfer have open access and see how long you are in business. BT's are about free loaders and most are not of legal age. Also people aren't buying the newest pc, dell is laying off a shit load of people . Also HD porn doesnt make it good porn just a bigger picture most of it is shit. I got an email 3 months ago from a member who couldn't see the clips, I asked him what version he was on and he said windows 3.1. My aunt runs a business on ebay and is on a sony viao 366mhz has no intension of upgrading. Most see a pc as an appliance like a toaster so unless it goes bad it stays. They still have dialup isp commercials on tv for christ sake.
BT's arent a innovation, they are illegal and the only reason they continue is they are in countries that dont give a fuck otherwise .They would be gone. |

Sorry torrents are not illegal. The trading of illegal software and material is. You need to seperate that first and foremost. That guy on 3.1 can keep his 29.00 bucks he wont even be able to view most paysites without scrolling around back and forth. lol I think he was pulling your leg. And I keep a 386 in the garage with a monitor for when I am doing my ebay shit too. Its fine for pulling up the ebay pages and setting ads up. Would I use it to watch video? No doubtful. And if that was my only computer I wouldnt be signing up for a paysite, Id be saving my money to buy a new computer. I also doubt your aunt signs up for paysites. |

1. The sponsors advertising there offer a product that can not be given away for free and is basically an upsell to what the people are getting for free. 2. Obviously they make a profit on their adverising there so no matter how bad the traffic the revenue must exceed the costs. 3. They do it to help destroy their competition. They fund people to give away your products for free so you lose your affiliates. Your conversions go to shit your affiliate switch to them where they make more money. They hit you from 2 ways, make your product worthless as it is given away for free and kill your traffic by making your affiliates leave. Let me know if this makes sense/ |

The proof is there... that same video could be on a torrent site 5 minutes from now, right next to an AFF ad. Sad. |

Oh and finger chappie ... i said i converted the file to wmv, the orinal I downloaded is the same quality as the original and at 2000kbps http://www.sharpedezine.com/leech_original.asf I'm still not sure why you're going on and fucking on about the quality when you originally said that "your" vod site couldn't be copied off. You're singing a slightly different tune than you previously were. Oh and I hope you buy something special with the revshare payment you get off my purchase .... like a clue perhaps! ... |

I am honestly stunned that more program owners and copyright holders don't have lawyers on the job getting after programs that encourage this stuff. I am starting to think that many of the supposedly big programs just ain't got the cash to do the job anymore. |

Should be the other way around, the sponsor should be out their protecting their own ass and helping the people who make them money. Maybe some are working behind the scenes and not posting about it. It would be nice to see them at least post in support, let people know they take it seriously and working on it. Even the ones that don't plan on doing anything about these issues and just hope they will go away, the least they could do is post that they support what affiliates are trying to do. At least recongize the problem publicly so your affiliates know you at least give a shit. I just don't understand how so many sponsors could be affected by content theft and it seems like less than 5% will even comment on it. strange. |

(a) If it has your logo on it, people will type that into the address bar and buy memberships without having to pay the affiliates a cent (b) The programs are still profitable enough that they aren't paying attention to the losses of revenue. The first one is big. In the past, when people were putting smaller amounts of images and 10 second videos on free sites, tgps, and on newsgroups... yeah, it was pretty much a given. But torrents and P2P change all that, because people want THE WHOLE F'N DEAL. They download site rips, not galleries... they download entire videos, not clips. Too many people haven't realized that what little traffic they get just can't be big enough return for having your content dilluted like strip club rum. The second part is also a big issue. Most programs aren't as profitable as they once were, but they are still profitable. As long as they are making money, they aren't pay attention to the dollars slipping away. Not only are they leaving money on the table, but Lars and his type are there sweeping up the money off the table. Program owners need to understand that they could be WAY more profitable... and they could make thier affiliates way happier. But that isn't happening. Meanwhile, Lars laughs at all of us and takes the money and runs. Program owners need to understand that he is laughing AT you, not with you. :Oh crap |
For the record, I only see DatingGold on TorrentSpy. I don't see AFF anywhere. DatingGold is all over the page.

Hate when I miss good threads like this when I go away for a week. To bad the poll is closed. It's obvious that AFF is bad for the biz in many ways and they don't care about any of us. I also think that it's a farce that they are allowed to be sponsors of http://www.asacp.org when they support torrent sites that not only contain cp but it's also a huge source for kids getting thier hands on the porn since they don't need a credit card to do it. It's a shame that so many big companies continue to stick up for them and that they are allowed to get away with assisting in the killing of out industry. They are by no means the only sponsor guilty of this. But they are the biggest name out there among torrent site owners and they know that AFF will do little to them so they can be paid and steal from all of us as much as they want and still get paid. So fuck AFF. %90 of aff supporters are about as usefull as the contest whores here on gfy. About %5 of the AFF are just greedy fucks and are as good for the industry as AFF is. Then there is the %5 or so that still support them because if they don't they fear they will lose the recurring base they have built up over the years and I feel bad for them as they want to do the right thing but depend on that money. Just rough estimates of course but i'd imagine those are about right. I need some sleep now, Hope I don't dream about that goat fucking lars again. That was just freaky.
