4-2 spurs if refs don't decide the series with calls. cavs don't have an answer for duncan and the san antonio bench is too deep.

Duncan is good too but he doesn't jump really. With Drew on him and then a double team, Duncan will be slow to get points and have to pass out to the open guy.

parker will abuse that kid, and duncan will abuse whoever is on him.

The east is so weak that making it to the finals doesn't mean you are championship caliber. Detroit choked, and there are no other teams from the east capable of winning the title this year.

This cavs team is going to become the 2001 Sixers. This is their one time appearance in the finals and it's all downhill from there.

Ok .... so game 1 goes to SA. Not a surprise. That just means better odds for betting on the Cavs to win the series. I'm not upset at all.

Cavs have no chance to win game 2 so you gonna be down 0-2 so you better wait till after the next game to the better odds. This was there only chance to win a game on the road...

I disagree. Game 1 at home after 13 days rest .... the Spurs should be and were ready. I saw Lebron holding back too. Game 2 is huge. Way bigger than game 1. This next game means the world.

Its kinda crazy. The Cavs and Lebron looked like the same team that played Detroit in Game 1.

They need something called consistency. They don't got it and championship teams need it.

I was wondering what kind of effect Bowen was going to have on Lebron. Looks like Bowen won the battle the first game, if he doesn't shoot better than 25% as he did in game 1 then the Cavs will get swept.

man, you're coming delusional now. This Spurs team is known because the off time makes them go rust, which was quite noticeable in the 2nd quarter. Then they just untighten the leash in the 4th so Lebron could have some points to add some make up to his crappy game, nothing else.

Spurs at full throttle are a machine. First game they came off rusty and way too relaxed, having fun (oh boy that Manu "under the legs" play, the alley oops, including the missed Duncan alley oop which had the whole Spurs team participate as if they were making some kind of Globe Trotters exhibition), playing with times and momentums at will and most important, never showing their weapons, exception made of TP who is trying to steal the MVP from Duncan. If (and this is a BIG IF) Cavs gets somewhere closer than 100 miles from where Spurs are at, they'll feel some pain. Sorry, I like LeBeyoncé and I know he'll see some nice rings in his hand, but right now those teams are different leagues, simple as that.

btw, you'd send a mail to "Big Z" letting him know the finals started. I mean, I'm sure he didn't come to play when scrubs like Oberto and Elson made fun of the big guy with a Cavs jersey

Spurs in 5.

Why? Cause Tim Duncan is the man and totally underrated. And the Spurs have a better overall supporting cast that's also more experienced.

Yes, LeBron is the man too, but it just isn't his time yet.
(it will be soon though)

That's true. If Z & LeBron and one more gug (Hughes, Gooden) are all clicking together they will likely win that game. I just don't see it happening 4 times. Especially without home court advantage.

Spurs in 5 because everyone keeps thinking only one man decides who wins. I mean Jordan won all his chams without any help, just ask ESPN.

This is the main problem with the pro-Cavs folks. KingAdam, not to dis' u cause u got an awesome winemaking hobby, but Duncan gets no respect. He might be a plodder of a big man, BUT . . . he is one of the all-time greats. Few are as unflashy as Duncan and few are as great. One of these days he will get the credit and respect he deserves. I predict it will finally happen in these Finals.

what you saw was lebron turning the ball over, not holding back. Take off the blinders bro. basketball is a great game to watch when you actually know what is going on.

Bowen got a lot of help from his teamates. Lebron is always double and triple teamed.

well, just to keep this alive, tonight there was a basketball clinic at the Alamo Dome, Spurs were (are?) so overwhelmingly superior that it got boring despite the fantasies and fun plays. Let's wait to Tuesday but after what I saw tonight I'm thinking that it won't be 4-1 as I thought, it looks more like a sweep

If this series have a reason to exist is to introduce the world a great Cavs player: Daniel Gibson
